Blake Shelton Rescues Stranger Trapped During Tropical Storm

One Oklahoma resident was dumbfounded when country singer Blake Shelton rescued him from a flooded road.

Roho Hartman was stranded when his truck couldn’t make it through a road left damaged by Tropical Storm Bill last Thursday.

As Hartman attempted to push his car up a hill, the beloved Voice coach happened to be driving by in his Dodge truck and quickly offered a helping hand. Shelton helped pull Hartman’s car out of the flood with a tow rope.

The thankful resident said he recognized Miranda Lambert's hubby right away.

"That looks like Blake Shelton, that's exactly what I thought," Hartman joked.

Yet, Shelton's generosity didn't stop there. Hartman asked the famous star for a ride home because he was still far from his residence. Shelton agreed.

“My wife called me and I said, ‘Blake Shelton pulled me out,’ ” Hartman said. “I said, ‘You better slick up, we’ll be there in just a minute.' ”

According to Hartman, the two "hit it off real good." Back at Hartman’s house, they also snapped a photo together — and he had nothing but kind words for the fellow Oklahoma native.

“He’s a good fella, I think," Hartman said. "I like him."
