A groom went the extra mile to prove his love for his bride on their wedding day – and it's a moment that will bring any hopeless romantic to tears.
Frank Gregoire spent six weeks trying to perfect the well-known Bollywood love song "Tum Hi Ho” in order to perform it for Simran Malhotra at their Christian and Sikh summer wedding. Not only did the critical care physician passionately sing every word, he also played the tune on the piano.
The song — featured in 2013’s Aashiqui 2 — speaks about an undying love with lyrics that translate to, “I can't live without you now/what's my existence without you?”
We've shown you several wedding surprises before, like the couple who danced to "Uptown Funk," and the one who became famous for their Dirty Dancing moment. But, nothing compares to a partner doing something so special for the other.
Just look at how emotional his bride is watching her beau in action. And, she wasn’t the only one touched by the gesture: Her family members are also shown tearing up.
"My heart sank when I first heard him sing in Hindi. It was a feeling I had never felt before," the bride told Huffington Post Canada. "The only thing I was thinking was, 'How did he manage to do this?' I was the only one at the reception who knows how hard he truly works."
