The father–daughter dance is one of the sweetest moments during any wedding day. For this woman and her dad, their special moment was much more than some standard slow dance.
The bride and her father slowly swayed back and forth to "My Girl" by The Temptations, a common song choice for this happy occasion. All of their guests stared in awe, filming and taking pictures of the duo as they savored each step together.
Some guests were singing along to the familiar tune as their eyes focused on the dance ahead of them.
The proud father spins his little girl around twice before coming back to their home dancing position.
Suddenly, the music began to skip. Was this the end of the father–daughter dance? Not for this family.
In an instant, the song switched to a livelier tune — and a very danceable one at that.
In the video below, posted on February 3, 2017, the once soft and slow father–daughter dance completely flips to a hip-hop break-dancing session, hosted by dad. The father shocks the entire crowd with his quick moves in the air and on the ground. Nobody expected these kinds of dance skills to come from the bride's father, but they are overjoyed to see him break it down for their entertainment.
Finally, after the big commotion ended, the bride and her father change their song back to "My Girl" for the conclusion of their unforgettable father–daughter dance.
