Summer is soon approaching, which means that it's getting warmer, and that your mailbox will probably receive a wedding invitation or two (or more) over the coming weeks. If you're lucky you may even be in the wedding party, and if you're really lucky you might even be the maid of honor.

Of course, the honor of being part of the wedding or close to the bride comes with some responsibilities. Being there through the dress alterations and catering mishaps is all part of a days work.

But while the bride is planning the most important day of her life, it's your job to plan a bridal shower she will never forget and more importantly, that she will not have to lift a finger for.

Now this occasion is called a bridal shower because it is an event to shower the bride-to-be with support and of course, gifts to help prepare her for life as a married woman.

Since the shower is cause for celebration, it is also cause for a delicious cocktail. Enter, the Hostess Next Door Vanessa Cantave and her easy recipe for Rosè Punch. It's the perfect addition to your brunch, or bridal shower (or both).

This recipe will give you and the bride one less thing to worry about and one more thing to enjoy at her bridal shower.
