Iowa dad, Zach Dabney was in shock when he saw his 10-year-old daughter, Raeann Dabney, get off the school bus. Written on her face with permanent market, across her forehead, was the word "Loser."
"They asked if they could and I said 'no' and then they just grabbed me and held me down and colored on my face," Raeann said.
Zach took photos of the incident to show the teachers as evidence. The father is upset that anyone would harm his little girl.
“I’m mad. I feel bad. She’s… she’s a great student, smart, intelligent. She’s in sports, cheerleading, gymnastics. You name it, she is in it. She is far from a loser," Zach said.
Reanna felt humiliated by the incident, like any bullied kid would.
"I was crying and trying to move but they kept holding me down," Raeann said. "It hurt my feelings for someone to write "loser" on my head.”
Titan Hill Principal Kent Stopak claims the school investigated the situation. Each of the bullies was punished by being unable to ride the bus for a day. Stopak insists that the school will take more necessary steps to prevent bullying in the future.
"I will continue to work with our student body to ensure that everyone is treated with dignity and respect," Stopak says.
