The day after Carrie passed away, her mother, Debbie Reynolds, passed away. The entire world mourned their deaths, and around the world, people created memorials and tributes to the two incredible actresses.
Even though it's been six months since their deaths, their fans still feel their absence.
Recently, Carrie's brother Todd opened up her home, to give fans a glimpse of the actress' life outside of the public eye.
Ginger Zee of Good Morning America visited Carrie's home and revealed to fans that Carrie's home is a rich and wild reflection of her fascinating past.

Recently, Good Morning America's Ginger Zee visited Carrie Fisher's Beverly Hills home and took a look inside.
Although the home may look like a normal Hacienda-style home on the outside, inside it's quirky and eclectic — just like Carrie Fisher herself.
The rooms, which are all colorfully decorated, reflect the actress' life, from her out-of-this-world films, to her memoir and one-woman show, Wishful Drinking.
The living room is almost like a shrine to Princess Leia — it's filled with artifacts and artwork that are directly related to the Star Wars movies.
In fact, People reports that 1,500 items belonging to Carrie and her mother, Debbie Reynolds, will be auctioned off in September.
For now, many of these items are still in Carrie's home.
Some of the incredible pieces include a stunning painting of her as Princess Leia in a gold bikini, a year-round Christmas tree decked in Star Wars memorabilia, and a life-size Yoda statue.
Carrie Fisher's brother, Todd, opened the house to Ginger Zee to raise awareness about the upcoming auction, and told her that Carrie and Debbie would have definitely approved.
On Instagram, Ginger writes:
Todd invited us into her home because he said Carrie & his mother Debbie Reynolds would have loved to share with the fans. Part of their auction goes to mental health charities.
As she notes, some of the money from the auction will benefit mental health charities, which is something both women were passionate about.
Carrie spent much of her life advocating for her fans, and reaching out to them through her work on mental health.
Her relationship with her fans was always close, and many of the items in Carrie's wacky living room were gifts from fans.
The living room also features a stunning stained glass window featuring a young woman and a dog.
Who's the girl in the window? Carrie's daughter, Billie Lourd.
Today, 24-year-old Billie looks a lot like her famous mother.
Carrie's bedroom is just as funky as the rest of her house.
Just look at that headboard! It's colorful and intergalactic. And don't miss the alligator over the door.
She once wrote on Twitter that the custom-made bed was inspired by the work of artist Joseph Cornell.
