Just when I thought I'd seen it all, one dedicated cat owner built his pet the greatest invention ever.
Forget the One Fast Cat wheel or the iCPooch. YouTube user "CrazyMrJohn" has created a one-of-a-kind cat elevator that allows his feline to hop in from the top floor of the house and cruise all the way down to the ground floor. While it might seem strange at first, it's definitely a unique mode of transportation for the older cat, who has some trouble getting down the stairs in the house.
He built the device on the outside of his home — and the most insane part is that the elevator is fully operated by the cat!
"The more comfortable way to get into the garden… The cabin is fitted with an infrared cat-flap, only the domestic cat has access," he writes on YouTube.
In the video, the cat is seen hopping into the "elevator" and pushing a button that make it move up and down. The cat patiently sits inside and rides down. Once he is safely stopped, the cat steps out and heads to the garden. Who needs stairs when you can get your human to create a nifty elevator just for you?
