Divorce can be an easy process, or it can be a difficult one. With that being said, there is always a decision for a woman to make once the divorce is final: keep the ex-husband's last name or change it back.
Some women keep their ex-husband's last name because their kids have it and they want to have the same last name as their children, or they don’t want to go through the whole process again of legally changing everything back. When it comes to famous celebrities, though, some are known by their ex-husband’s last name, so they keep their well-known name.
Worldtastic shared a video about 28 famous women who decided to skip changing their last names and instead keep the last names of their ex-husbands. The first one on the list is actress Raquel Welch. Even though she was only with James Westley Welch from 1959 to 1964 and was married to three men after him, she kept his last name.
Second on the list is Joy Behar from The View, who was married to Joseph Behar from 1965 to 1981. After Joseph, Joy married Steve Janowitz, whom she is currently still with. Following Joy is Suzanne Somers, best known for her role in Three’s Company. She was married to Bruce Somers from 1965 to 1968 and then married Alan Hamel in 1977.
Pat Benatar, an American singer-songwriter, married Dennis T. Benatar in 1972, divorced him in 1979, and then married Neil Giraldo in 1982. Businesswoman Ivana Trump was married to Donald Trump from 1977 to 1992 and married two other men after Donald.
American-Swiss singer Tina Turner was married to Ike Turner from 1962 to 1978 and didn’t marry longtime love Erwin Bach until 2013. Actress Demi Moore was married to Freddy Moore from 1980 to 1985. Shortly after her divorce from Freddy, Demi married famous actor Bruce Willis, followed by Ashton Kutcher.
Actress Susan Sarandon was with Chris Sarandon from 1967 to 1979. Susan got into a relationship with Tim Robbins after Chris and had two children with him.
