It’s incredible how a little love and compassion will nourish animal survivors back to health.
This little puppy was suffering hypothermia in the dead of winter before a good samaritan found him and got him to safety (aptly naming him Nicolas for finding him on Christmas). With the help of social media, he was able to be nursed back to health and adopted by a loving forever home.
Another stray, a kitty named Elsa, was also found outside and left on her own in horrific weather conditions. But thanks to humans who found her and took her in, she was able to get to a shelter that worked to find her a loving family.
You’ll remember a couple of weeks ago when we reported on an eight-day-old kitten named Chloe who was discovered abandoned and taken in by a foster home after a few brushes with death. She needed to be bottle fed every three hours and she hadn’t even opened her eyes yet.
In a recent update, Chloe seems to be doing just fine. She’s now four weeks old, very playful, and being socialized with other kittens, and she’ll be going up for adoption when she gets a little bigger.
