Broadway star Tshidi Manye is no stranger to performing onstage in front of thousands of spectators per night. Perhaps most well known for her amazing performance as Rafiki in the Broadway version of Disney's The Lion King, Manye is just one of those people who knows how to enrapture the full attention of anyone who is lucky enough to watch her.
Singing with James Brown-Orleans, this beautiful example of her raw talent will give you chills up and down your spine. Beginning with the classic song "The Circle of Life," Manye belts out the lyrics with such apparent ease that it's truly a breathtaking event to behold. With Orleans picking away at the guitar, these two talented musicians just seem to be having some fun doing what they do best!
Anyone that performs in the Broadway's The Lion King is known to have massive amounts of talent. But when one of the lead characters gets on stage to sing, you better believe you're in for the treat of a lifetime!
Perhaps one of the most memorable songs from the famous film, "The Circle Of Life" was written by the legendary Elton John>; its building crescendo and its tribal elements make this song an exceptionally fun piece to listen to. While we're used to the way it's depicted in the film, we're thankful that Manye, backed by such talent, tried a new spin on the original composition and performed it with a more "laid back" feel. Either way, it's absolutely gorgeous and well worth the listen!
