When this DIY-er started out, he was simply looking at a shell of the back end of a 1957 Chevy.
But he had big plans in mind to create the couch of his dreams.
He created a metal support frame to go inside the car shell to act as the base of his soon-to-be couch.
With some simple and inexpensive wood, the couch was already beginning to take shape.
But to make things much more comfortable, he utilized the backseat of a 1994 Thunderbird.
He writes, "I flipped it around using the backrest as the bottom and the bottom for the backrest."
And just like that, he had a "wow" piece that is sure to impress any visitor, whether a car lover or not.
He even installed double wheel casters on the bottom to make his unique furniture piece easy to move around the living room.
This brilliant DIY idea not only brought a little bit of beauty to his ordinary living room, but it will undoubtedly be a conversation piece for years to come!
