If you give a cat a Swiffer…he'll probably start tearing it to pieces, because there's no way he's going to clean anything.
In fact, he hates anything cleaning-related. He hates brooms, dust pans, Swiffers, mops, Roombas, vacuums…you name it (unless happen to be this cat).
All of that stuff just looks like a big fluffy cat that's attacking him, and gosh darn it, he's gonna his best to strike back!
I mean, imagine what a vacuum must look like to your cat: a big, scary, noise-making dinosaur of sorts.
And don't get me started on brooms and Swiffers, attacking his floor, his territory!
