New York City Police Officer Shows Off Epic Dance Moves On The Street

New York City's annual Gay Pride Parade is always full of lively people – and apparently their behavior is contagious. One NYPD officer took a quick break from his shift and participated in the festivities.

Like the the North Carolina police officer who jumped in for the "Wobble" at a block party, officer Brendan James showed off his secret talent while dancing to the 2007 hit "Cupid Shuffle."

Luckily, it was captured on video and shared on Facebook by Bill D'Ottavio. The video's caption reads, "Cops have fun too," and we certainly believe it after watching the clip.

In the video, Officer James approached two parade-goers and nonchalantly joined them for a mini dance party on the street.

The uniformed officer didn't miss a beat smoothly performing every single move. At one point, he even grabbed a woman's rainbow flag and used it as a dance prop.

Eventually more people hopped in to dance with them, while others stopped to stare (and of course record the special moment).

Some commenters were also surprised by the officer's dancing, including one who wrote, "Wow he can move."

Watch the video below and let us know if you were impressed by his moves, too.
