They Brought 634 Corgis To The Beach. The Outcome? Priceless!

A California beach was invaded over the weekend by 634 terrifyingly adorable corgis!

That's right. Over the weekend, hundreds of corgis descended upon Southern California's Huntington Beach for the ninth installment of Corgi Beach Day. The result was an absurdly adorable corgi playdate. The fluffy, long-bodied dogs, which are the the preferred dogs of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II, had lots of fun in the sun.

As the pups dipped their paws in the water and played fetch in the sand, their humans Instagrammed away, capturing every adorable moment on social media. Even those who weren't in the area could take part in the fun-filled day by following the hashtag #SoCalCorgiBeachDay on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

This video features the dogs running freely and happily — like these adorable rescue pugs.

The event is organized by corgi owner Dan McLemore and his wife Kelly. The couple adopted their first corgi, Mr. Pickles, and started the event as a casual meet-up with fellow owners back in 2012. Now it's an annual tradition.

During the massive meetup, there was a "Corgis of Instagram Meet & Greet," which was followed by a limbo contest and a massive group photo. Now that's one awesome beach paw-ty!
