A Rescued Dog Gets A New Life As An *Artist*. This Is Hysterical!!

Brinks Amelchenko is a 5-year-old yellow Labrador retriever and an accomplished artist… at least in his own mind!

The dog recently completed his first his first published work, a book title "The Da Vinci Dog", but things were not always so fabulous for the Lab. Brinks was adopted from a shelter after he was abandoned by his previous owners. With his new dad, Paul Amelchenko, Brinks became your typical destructive doggy. The former stray would take a taste of anything he could fit his teeth around – from cell phones, to flowers in the garden.

However, it wasn't until Brinks made a different kind of mess that his owner realized how special he was. Most owners would wipe away slobber on a glass door immediately, but Paul felt that his dog's mucus-y mess was more a form of self-expression… and art!

I'm so happy that this dog has found such a happy ending – and a successful art career. What a story!!!
