For many of us, drug use and drug overdoses are occurrences that happen very far away from us, physically and emotionally. If we know people who are affected by the habit, they are very distant from us, and we don't totally understand what they and their families may be going through.
This video features one couple that can show us exactly what it's like to be living with a member of the family who is addicted to dangerous substances. Paul and his wife appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show, as this was her last effort to get him clean.
Paul's wife made many claims, and Paul did not deny a single one. He stopped being a father to their kids and spent all their money on his habit.
He let her clean up after him all the time, and he did nothing to help the family's situation.
It was almost as if he didn't want to get clean.
All that changed once the host's team stepped in to help. As seen in the video, a mere six months later, the couple returned to live TV to give an update on their situation, and it looks like things have totally changed.
Not only is Paul clean and healthy, but the couple is also ready to get married! He looks like a brand new man, and surely his family is appreciative of all the help the show's team provided.
