This video is breaking all records on social media. Chris Price, 26, of Leicester and his four-year-old daughter Lily singing "Let It Go" from Frozen has garnered over 17 million views, and it was only posted about 24 hours ago.
From the video's description:
Thousands of users from around the world have left messages on his Facebook page after it spread.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, pharmacy worker Chris said: "I'm just overwhelmed. I am absolutely blown away with it. My little sister shared it first with her friends and then they shared it.
"I was taking my daughter out for the day, I took her to Toys R Us and when I came out I saw it had got half-a-million hits. Pretty much my knees went."
It has also been shared over 80,000 times since it was uploaded by Chris' sister Melanie, 21, on Saturday morning, and has become a big hit on Twitter and Instagram.
The 84 second clip shows the pair singing the popular Disney tune while driving to the shops for a day out in London this weekend.
Since it was uploaded on Saturday morning Chris and Lily have been stopped several times by strangers eager to talk about the video.
Explaining the clip's popularity, Chris added: "I think the key factor is that this is just me being me with Lily. I think it is the honesty in it.
"I have seen the comments saying I am completely adoring her and that's right."
He added: "The video was posted at 10am. A lady in Waitrose came up to us at 2pm and said it was a great video!… just a random lady! Then the lady at the local leisure center, I took Lilly swimming this afternoon, had also seen it. It has gone crazy."
Despite becoming an internet sensation, Chris does not think the pair are quite ready for a music career.
He added: "I want Lilly to have her 15 minutes of fame, she is just incredible. I'm not sure she is ready for X Factor though, not at four years old, but who knows in the future."
Thank you to Chris and his daughter for sharing this beautiful moment with us. This video really made my day, and I'm sure it will do the same for you. Please keep sharing it!
