In just a few minutes, we learn about a young boy in Singapore who resented his single father for never making as much money as his friend's parents, despite working twice as hard. He never thought of his father as an inspiration.
As the boy grows into a man, he makes it his personal mission to be more successful than his father, while distancing himself in America and breaking the poor old man's heart. It's not until his father dies and he finally returns home that we learn the heartbreaking truth about his father's past.
When you measure success in terms of dollars, you may never find true happiness. This beautiful story deeply touched my heart, and I truly hope you find inspiration in it today!
