Marriage, for most, is a union of two people in love. They start a new chapter of their lives together, and will most likely start a family, too.
It's usually a monogamous relationship that ties two people together for the rest of their lives.
But for some, marriage is not so simple or traditional. Some believe that one woman and one man is not the only way to do it.
One of those families is the Dargers.
Joe Darger is a polygamist who married twin sisters Vicki and Valerie, but it doesn't stop there. He also married their cousin Alina.
If you're not from a family like this, you may be shocked or confused at the thought of how this works, but for the Dargers, the way they describe their lives seems effortless.
The four of them now have 25 children, a happy marriage, and a very unorthodox way of living.
The wives each have a separate room and Joe alternates between them from night to night. All their children seem to enjoy having multiple mothers so they can cultivate unique relationships with each of them.
Through this interview, you can see how calm and normal this seems for everyone involved. With happy children and apparently happy wives, what more could someone ask for? Although this may be controversial, it's interesting to see how this family makes their life work.
