While some women have no problem getting pregnant, others need to go the extra mile. This means figuring out the best time to conceive, and maybe getting help by seeking out a medical professional.
Carrie Weiss and her husband struggled with infertility from 1995 to 1997. They turned to intrauterine insemination (IUI) and human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) so she could become pregnant.
Throughout her long struggle to have a child, Carrie kept "diaries" tracking her progress, her questions, and her habits. Eventually, she gave birth to daughter Hailey.
Hailey is all grown up now and attending the College of New Jersey. Recently, she was sifting through some of her parents' belongings looking for school supplies when she found an old notebook.
Inside it, she discovered a gestation calculator wheel, a calendar, and pockets labeled “referrals,” “prescriptions,” and “questions.” She realized that this was the notebook they had used to help conceive her!
Hailey quickly texted her mom about the emotional discovery, and the two exchanged some heartfelt messages. Scroll down to see them!

She was recently going through some of her parents' belongings searching for school supplies, when she found an old notebook.

Later, she opened it and made an emotional discovery.

Inside, there was a gestation calculator wheel, a calendar that showed dates between 1995 and 1997, and her mom's handwriting on pockets labeled “referrals,” “prescriptions,” and “questions.”

This was the notebook her parents had used to keep track of their fertility. Thanks to this notebook, they were able to conceive Hailey!

The mom and daughter had a heartwarming exchange over text messages.

Carrie Weiss also has a son, Hailey's little brother.

The couple wanted to get pregnant again and tried for a while before giving up and turning to adoption. But just as they were looking into the process, Carrie discovered that she was expecting!
