Teen Disrespects Disabled Veteran. His Response Will Bring You To Tears!

Disabled veteran Brian Fay risked his life to protect our country. When he returned home, he went to the store with his wife, proudly wearing a "Disabled Veterans National Foundation" beanie. At the checkout line, the bagger, noting that the veteran had all his limbs, asked him, "What's wrong with you?"

The veteran was shocked by the lack of understanding people have about the debilitating issues that veterans face. He kept quiet and didn't want to make a scene at the grocery store. But when he got home, he decided to film his response — and it is something we all need to hear.

In the video, uploaded by his mom Melanie Fay, the disabled vet delivers an eye-opening message about the horrors he faced on the battlefield. He notes that his "invisible wounds" will be with him the rest of his life. These emotional and mental scars — like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) — are lasting wounds that may never heal, he says.

"See my scars? I don't wear them on the surface of my skin. Like most veterans the deepest scars are within… What you fail to understand is that no veteran comes back that whole of a man. Who are you to ask what is wrong with me?" he states in the nearly three-minute message.
