A lot of us say we're not distracted drivers, but how many of us are really telling the truth?
If your phone rings while you're driving, do you reach over to answer it? If a text comes through, do you glance over at your phone's screen? What about putting makeup on, or even keeping your eyes on the road but letting your mind drift off? Can you say that you haven't done any of these things in the last week?
This powerful commercial by the Transport Accident Commission of Victoria, Australia shows us that even the smallest act of distracted driving can have a big impact on not just us, but any little ones who may be in the car with us.
"Positive role modeling by parents of 5–12-year-olds has the potential to have a huge influence on their child’s future driving behavior," Tag says, information that makes the commercial below all the more powerful.
