Summer is here, and that means it's time for outdoor adventures and tasty frozen treats.

There are so many different variations on the most flavorful popsicles for us to indulge in, but sometimes, it would be amazing if our pets could experience the delight that we do.

That's why we've concocted healthy, delectable frozen pawsicles (yes, paws) that are completely safe for dogs to snack on. It will not only help them cool off from the harsh summer heat, but it's also a great way for all you pup lovers out there to get creative in the kitchen. Who doesn't love to spoil their dog, right?

The ingredients you'll need are: plain yogurt, two ripe bananas, honey, and peanut butter.

First, place the bananas in a bowl and mash them up. It might be easier to cut them up into chunks first. We've chosen to go with a wooden masher, but anything with a blunt, flat surface will give great impact.

Afterward, measure out 1/8 cup of honey.

Then, dollop out about 1/2 cup of peanut butter.

Add in the yogurt with the bananas — we found that adding in just a bit less than 32 oz of plain yogurt will make for a refreshing taste.

The honey and peanut butter can be added in after that.

Mix everything very well inside the bowl. I used a spatula to help fold in all the ingredients.

The resulting color of the mixture should be a nice, golden cream.

Next, scoop little batches of the mixture into a freezing mold, with the help of small measuring spoons. We went with this amazing silicone tray with puppy paw-shaped molds.

Here's one row down! Again, the spatula can come in handy: Smooth out the surface of the mold with its flat side to cut off any excess.

Place the mold in the freezer for at least one hour, and let everything set well.
