Don't get me wrong, there are some pretty amazing decorations that are available to buy for fall.
But there is also this uniquely wonderful feeling that comes along with being able to build your own fun crafts for fall without paying nearly as much.
Crafters have come up with some pretty cool ways to celebrate the changing of the seasons like these easy DIY leaf bowls.
Lori of the Stonybrook House was excited to get into the autumn spirit by building a cute stacked pumpkin sculpture for her porch.
But when she saw how much decorative pumpkins cost, she decided to ditch buying them and make them herself instead.
Using some cool crafting skills, she was able to make the decorations of her dreams that look just as good as any craft store purchase.
Check below to see her cool process of creating the pumpkins out of plastic bags, tape, paper, and glue.

Lori of the Stonybrook House didn't want to shell out unnecessary big bucks for decorative pumpkins to add to her porch.
So she decided to make her own using a few talented techniques!
She started off by making the rough pumpkin shapes out of plastic bags and duct tape.
The little recycled shapes were made to stack on top of one another.
Then she used a tried-and-true crafting method to solidify her sculptures: papier-mâché!
This method involves paper or fabric, held together with a wet glue.
Once the papier-mâché pieces were all dry, she started painting them using standard pumpkin colors.
"I wanted them to look like real pumpkins," she explained.
To keep the decoration properly stacked, she secured a pole into the planters that the pumpkins would be stacked on.
Then she drilled holes in each of the pumpkins and threaded the pole through.
The pretty painted piece looks just like real stacked pumpkins and was made using household materials.
After they were finished, it was time to decorate them!
She wrapped fun trimmings around the pumpkins to make them particularly fall-themed.
Fake leaves and garlands were used as little wraparounds.
The completed craft looks just like something you would buy in a craft store.
Using her own artistic means, this clever crafter made an amazing decoration for fall that rivals anything in the craft store!
