Despite her name, Gremlin is actually a princess — and her owner wants everyone to know it.
It's hard to resist spoiling our beloved pets. Most owners enjoy giving their dogs toys, while others like to buy their canines extravagant doggy houses. But Mariesa took it yet another step further…
When Mariesa was getting married to her beau Chris, she made sure her pooch looked perfect for the special day. That meant Gremlin even got her nails painted, just like the rest of the bridal party.
The bride used a special dog nail polish, which has no smell and dries quickly. And Gremlin didn’t seem to mind the pampering one bit!
“I do absolutely consider her my dog child, and my dog of honor. Really, I feel like her bridesmaid because I think more people want to see her than me sometimes,” says Mariesa, who owns seven other rescue dogs with Chris. “But, I’m OK with it because she’s pretty awesome.”
Yet things weren’t always peachy between Gremlin and her owner. As Mariesa explains in the video, it took a while for the two to form a bond. A special turning point — revealed at the 1:26 mark — made them closer than ever. (What Mariesa also says at 1:35 will certainly get you emotional.)
