Dogs are known for being loyal, lovable friends to us humans. This dog is definitely the epitome of that description.
One day, a husband and wife were standing in the kitchen and realized that their dog was being a little overprotective of his owner's pregnant belly. For fun, they decided to have someone film all the action.
In the video below, posted on January 27, 2017, a man in a gray T-shirt reaches over and announces that he's going to touch the baby bump of the mom-to-be standing next to him.
As he reaches his arm toward the pregnant belly, the brown dog in the room jumps up and nudges the hand away. He lets out an angry bark, almost as if to say, "Don't touch the baby!"
The husband tries again, slowly inching his arm out toward the pregnant belly beside him, but it isn't going to work. The dog keeps at it, determined to keep the little, growing baby safe from people touching her mother's tummy.
He asks, "Can I touch her?" and barely sticks his hand in the air when the dog barks again and shoves it back toward him.
The cameraman cackles at the hilarious sight and exclaims, "Baby's got its own protector!"
The dog's pregnant owner rubs under his chin to thank him for protecting her — even though her husband is just trying to feel the baby kick.
Although the defensive dog doesn't really need to save his owner's pregnant belly, it's nice to see such a loyal animal. Too see it all for yourself, check out the video below!
