Robbie the dog is very friendly and just wants to play. In this classic viral video, the dog mistook a statue of Alan Turing for a real person. As the silly dog tries to play fetch with the bronze statue in Manchester's Sackville Park — and his owner caught the hilarious exchange on camera.
When the dog doesn't get any reaction, the canine picks up a stick and tries to place it in the statue's hand. The rescue dog whimpers, wondering why his new playmate won't throw the stick. Robbie's owner, Jamie Goodwin, is heard laughing in the background.
To date the video of Robbie trying to woo the Alan Turing Memorial has been watched more than five million times since it was uploaded to YouTube.
