Adam Walker, a marathon swimmer from the U.K., was swimming in the waters off the coast of New Zealand recently, when a group of dolphins shielded him from a seven-foot-long shark.
Walker noticed the shark directly below him and then to his amazement, a group of about 10 dolphins surrounded him, swimming by his side for over an hour! Although it’s impossible to know whether the dolphins were joining Walker to play or protect, he was thankful to them for protecting his life. Walker wrote on his Facebook page “I’d like to think they were protecting me and guiding me home!!!” along with the video. Dolphins have always been great friends to humans, but this is absolutely incredible. Please SHARE!
