Widowed Mom Loses Daughter In Car Crash, Then Opens Up About It To Stranger In Eat’n Park

For the occasion of Cort Hodil and Janet Blystone's wedding, 25 guests consisting of friends and family squeezed into an Eat'n Park restaurant in Ross Township, Pennsylvania. It's not the most popular place to host weddings, but the restaurant has a very special place in the couple's hearts and relationship.

Both Cort and Janet, who each have children, lost spouses before meeting one another. Their relationship blossomed over this shared experience while sharing meals every Thursday at the Eat'n Park. Soon, the restaurant became an indispensable part of their bond.

Janet says, "Eat’n Park was the one common denominator in our relationship from the beginning."

Janet also lost a daughter almost 10 years ago. Together, she and Cort grieved, cried, laughed, and talked about their pasts during these dates, and often talked about being single parents.

After three years, they agreed to get married. The location was a no-brainer: They would get married where they had already shared so many memories and emotional moments.

Now, the couple plans to embark on a cruise to the Bahamas for their honeymoon.
