Sometimes when you discover people in the middle of something that catches you off guard, it can all look a little fishy.
This video posted by Wonderbot on YouTube shares the story of a senior woman who caught four young boys on her land and soon found herself in tears when she discovered what they were actually there to do.
Gerry Suttle, a 75-year-old woman from Texas, has spent a peaceful retirement on her two acres of land. But one day she found herself surprised and confused when a police car showed up on her property.
As it happens, the law in Riesel, Texas, states that the grass cannot be longer than 18 inches tall, otherwise you will be issued a fine. The police in the area notified Gerry that she was in violation of the city ordinance with her long grass height and she was going to be ordered to go to jail.
Utterly shocked, Gerry claimed that she never received a notice about her violation, so she never showed up in court. Unfortunately, after that point, a warrant for her arrest was issued by the authorities.
Gerry didn’t know what she was going to do. She was a widow with no family close by, and she couldn’t afford costly legal bills.

One day after she received this news, she heard a banging sound coming from outside in her yard. She looked out and saw four boys coming toward her and immediately felt very nervous.
Just when she was about to call the police, she noticed that some of them had garden tools and one was even pushing a lawn mower.
