Mom And Dad Have 16 Children, Then They Show Reporter Where They Live

Jeni and Ray Bonell are a happy, smiling, married couple. Most folks don't know how they do it. Even the reporter who interviewed them couldn't believe how jubilant this couple is. Why? Well, they've just welcomed their sixteenth baby home!

Managing a household of 16 children, with the oldest being 24 and the youngest only weeks old, is no easy task. The piles of laundry are never-ending. The grocery bills are huge. Instead of a car, they drive around in a former school bus.

The family goes through 50 liters of milk a week, 14 boxes of cereal, and four dozen eggs — totally about $600 on food per week!

Even with the massive task of childrearing and all its expenses, the Bonells are happy as can be.

Their newest edition, Katelyn, was a miracle baby in more ways than one. Katelyn's birth had many complications when the umbilical chord prolapsed during birth. Fortunately, mother and child are doing well. Ray continues to have a newfound respect for his wife with each new child.

"I've got new admiration for her because her recovery has been a lot harder, and I've had to take on some of the housework and some of the washing, and I've earned a total new respect for her this time around," he said.

The entire family operates like a well-oiled machine, helping with the chores and taking care of the little ones. Watch when Jeni brings Katelyn home for the first time and each of her 15 brothers and sisters get to meet her below.
