When Milena Channing was 29 years old, she suffered a massive stroke that damaged the part of her brain responsible for processing images. She woke up in the hospital in complete darkness, with no hope of ever being able to see again. But then she did.
She started to see small movements. Running water. Her daughter's pony tail swinging. Steam from a coffee cup. While her vision has improved, there are still things she can't see, and may never be able to. Like faces of those she loves. While most of us would be so frustrated by this, what Milena said at the very end made me think. She has a wonderful perspective on life! Please SHARE this beautiful story with everyone!
