When your family needs you to make a special day even more special, you do it. That's what Patrick Casey did at his cousin's wedding.
Now, as we all know, it's tradition to have a little girl walk down the aisle before the bride. She usually carries a basket full of flower petals and adorably strews them on the floor down the aisle.
Patrick and his cousin Andria have been there for each other since day one. In fact, the two of them were flower girl and ring bearer together in a wedding when they were of the appropriate age (children).
When asked how he approached being his cousin's flower man, Patrick told LittleThings: "I definitely took my role seriously, but I think my role was to bring a bit of appropriate levity to Andria and Jake's special day. They approved and wanted me to do it! I figure, I would guess all good marriages have a lot of laughter, so what's wrong with including a little fun in one's wedding ceremony?"
What a lovely way to look at a marriage! Maybe someday Andria will be the ring bearer for Patrick's wedding.

Patrick was the one who brought the idea to his cousin.
He was more than happy to play the role.
The basket, however, was Andria's idea.
Since it was her wedding, he happily obliged.
One thing's for sure: this was a one-of-a-kind wedding.
And he, of course, had to take a bow once he reached the altar.
I don't want to say that Patrick stole the show entirely, but he definitely made quite the name for himself!
