It's hard to resist cuddling up with a new litter of kittens — but a kitten named Midas is especially hard not to love. Born in Ankara, Turkey, Midas has a very special distinction about her. Instead of two ears, Midas was born with four.
Midas had a genetic mutation that affected both her ears and jaw. But the good news is that it likely won't cause any health issues down the line.
According to The Indian Express, Midas was born in a backyard along with several siblings. When she was ready, she was quickly adopted by Canis Dosemeci and her family.
Canis actually thought that the extra ears might turn people away from adopting Midas, but they're actually an intriguing feature. They make Midas stand out from the rest of the litter. Plus, if there's anything the internet happens to love, it's cats with differing features.
"We have never thought of buying a cat, we just wanted to rescue a cat from the street, and we wanted to adopt her," Canis told the publication.
Inside Edition visited Canis and Midas in their home, which Midas shares with two dogs. It seems like she's quite happy being indoors and knows exactly how to get attention.
