Four Lion Cubs Were Tossed Into A Pool. The Reason Why Completely Surprised Me!

It was sink or swim for four newborn lion cubs at the Smithsonian National Zoo.  Normally, I would agree with throwing babies into pools, but the reason why makes a lot of sense. All lions at the zoo must pass swim tests, carefully monitored by the team to prove they can swim to land and pull themselves out of the water, as there are many moats in their habitat.

All four of the lions passed the test and will be able to live with their families very soon! Please SHARE if you love baby animals.
