I'm no stranger to using strange products on my hair in order to have it looking its best. Items in my pantry and fridge often make the best hair products: if I want to get beautiful waves, all I need is a bottle or two of Coke. And for the softest hair, look no further than that jar of mayo in your fridge!
Now, another pantry item is making it on our list of must-use beauty products. Chances are, you have a can of cooking spray at home, and if it's made of coconut oil, you're in luck! When you have frizzy hair, coconut oil cooking spray, two elastics, and a few bobby pins are all you need for an amazingly gorgeous updo!
Tie your hair into a high ponytail. Spray the coconut oil cooking spray all over the frizzy hair of the ponytail, then tie a second elastic just a few inches below the first. Create a gap above the first elastic, and pull the ponytail up from the bottom. But don't pull it out all the way! Secure the bun down with some bobby pins — and the messier the bun is, the better! The cooking oil makes your hair shinier and more manageable.
