Sometimes you see something so strange that you wonder why anyone spent their time discovering it in the first place — but you're at least glad that they decided to share the oddities with the rest of us!
For instance, I would have never thought to try and empty a water bottle over the Hoover Dam, but after seeing the way the liquid reacts to the pressure in the air, I almost wanted to book a trip ASAP to try it out for myself.
The bizarre reaction in the video below also involves water, but this time on a completely frozen lake in Russia.
Though I couldn't understand what was being said by the pair of friends who decided to see what would happen when they spun glass jars across the top of the ice, I was really too distracted by the mesmerizing result to care anyway.
Trust me, as soon as you hit play, you'll feel exactly the same way! And chances are you'll want to start it right from the start all over again after you finish watching.
It makes me wonder how other objects might react to the slick surface too.
If I was anywhere near a lake this solid, I would totally be experimenting with that idea right now.
