Dog owners know how much their canines love food. There’s almost nothing that can keep them away from an appealing smell.
Whenever I step into the kitchen, my Jack Russell terrier, Charlie, is usually trailing right behind me hoping that I’ll slip him something tasty. And you should just see the hopeful look in his eyes when I sit down to eat.
For the most part, it’s pretty rare to see dogs as patient as the three chocolate Labrador retrievers who say grace before they chow down on their dinner. Instead, you’ll probably catch them scheming to steal your food when you’re not looking.
What happens in the video below also proves how overprotective many dogs can be over their food. Within the first few seconds, it’s clear the little pooch doesn’t want the German shepherd anywhere near his dinner bowl. I'm sure that's a common occurrence in some homes with more than one dog.
Oddly enough, however, it still seems these two enjoy each other’s company. Just wait for what the German shepherd does at the :42 mark. And pay attention to the little canine wagging his tail at the 1:01 mark.
