Having a bird trapped in your house is frustrating enough (for both you and the animal), but when you live in an apartment building with many floors, the challenge of getting it out and back into the wild is even more daunting. One man found himself in that exact situation when a beautiful bird found its way into his building and couldn't figure out how to get back out. Most people might have just opened a window and hoped that the poor creature escaped on its own, but this guy was determined to help it fly free. The way he got the bird to taste freedom again is pure genius. I'm definitely going to keep this in mind if I ever get a bird in my apartment!
Most people have soft spots for animals such as dogs and cats, but hearing about people rescuing birds is far less common. Just like these people who rescued an owl that had gotten tangled in a fence, this man proved what a good heart he has by going out of his way to save a wild animal that he'll never see again. My mind is still blown by his quick thinking. Using the elevator to help encourage the bird to go downstairs is such a simple trick, but I would have never even thought of it! Thanks to this man's cleverness, this bird is now back where he belongs. Who knows? He might have a family waiting for him, just like this little chick did when he was rescued!
By taking a couple extra minutes out of his day, this man did an incredible thing for this bird. I truly believe the world would be a better place if more people were like him. Better yet, his brilliant plan might help save other birds from being stuck if more people see this video! It's important that people see this so they can learn what to do in such a tricky situation.
