Dog Dumped At Shelter For ‘Bad’ Behavior Waits 196 Long Days To Smell Grass Again

Shelters can be either the greatest or worst places in the world.

Some shelters strive to get all of their animals adopted as fast as they possibly can to families that will truly care about them.

Other shelters have high kill rates because they just do not have the room. There are far too many stray animals in the United States. It's estimated that there are over 70 million stray cats in the country.

Ginger was dumped at the Carson Animal Shelter after her family decided they couldn't keep her anymore because she didn't get along with their other dog.

When she was first dropped off at the shelter, she was all smiles because she didn't realize her family was not coming back. But then she spent 196 days in the shelter, waiting for them.

Thankfully Ginger doesn't have to live out the rest of her days alone. She has taken her freedom walk home! She got to smell grass again, which she was so happy to see. Her tail wouldn't stop wagging!

If you like to see animal shelters that care about their animals, you will enjoy this shelter looking to thank the anonymous donor who dropped $8,000 cash into their donation box.

If you are happy that Ginger finally has a forever home, you will be happy to see this pit bull taking his freedom walk after three weeks of misery in a shelter.

Don't forget to SHARE Ginger's walk to freedom with all of your friends and family!
