What seemed like a perfectly normal birthday celebration suddenly turned into something much more.
Right after singing happy birthday to her, Bill tells his girlfriend Jen to open the cake box in front of her.
You can tell she couldn’t understand why she had to, but proceeded anyway under the instruction of her boyfriend on her right — kind of like that moment when this bride-to-be told her future bridesmaids to open their boxes that revealed a special invite.
As she starts to open the white box, family members wait in anticipation with phones out ready to snap away at what’s about to be a moment Bill and Jen will never forget.
Upon opening, Jen finds a cake decorated with four words. Absolutely shocked, Jen falls to her knees with Ben who dropped to one knee as soon as she realized what was about to take place.
What makes this video absolutely precious is how they’re both crouched together on the floor as the family is gathered around them anticipating Jen’s final answer.
When Jen finally rises and agrees to marry Ben, they embrace each other, and it’s truly adorable to watch her glance at her ring in amazement.
