Warren decided to utilize the natural grooves in pecky cypress hardwood, and then he got the otherworldly idea to fill them with a glow-in-the-dark concoction of photoluminescent (AKA glow) powder and clear casting resin.
The result? Ethereal, glowing blue pools of cool.

Step One: Prep the wood
Step 2: Make the holes
Warren specifically used a type of wood called "pecky cypress." Pecky cypress is a rotted cypress wood that has been naturally damaged by an inner fungal growth. He picks the wood out of the holes to create crevices.
Step three: Sand the surface
Make it purdy and smooth!
Step five: Pour in the goo!!!
Warren mixed clear resin glue with glow powder to fill the gaps.
Step six: Let resin cure
Then, he let it cure overnight.
Step seven: Do a glow test
Seems to be working to us!
Step eight: Enjoy!
Have a headless friend sit at the table and take a photo!
