It all started with a guest at the door. What went on from there was the best surprise this man could have ever asked for.
In the video below, posted on May 3, 2017, the man walks down a long hallway in his home that leads to his front door. He is followed by his dog and his wife and daughter, who is holding a camera up to record his every move.
He peeks out the window beside the door and doesn't say a word. Then, he quickly moves to open the door and reveal who is waiting outside.
He swings it open and stares in awe.
Standing in front of his home is his young granddaughter, whom he has never met — until this very moment. He just can't believe that it is finally her.
This grandfather is ecstatic and beyond surprised. After letting it all sink in, the proud grandfather breaks down and begins to tear up, still unable to believe that his little granddaughter is at his house to visit him.
"Did that take you a second, Dad?" his daughter asks with a giggle.
He wipes away his tears and invites her and her dad in for a warm hug inside his house.
