Brooklyn-based actor and filmmaker Meir Kalmanson hit the streets of New York City to bust a move behind unsuspecting New Yorkers and decided to spread some joy to people around him.
Kalmanson, who previously gave high fives to unsuspecting people hailing cabs, is dedicated to bringing "positive light and life to the people and places around him."
This video shows Kalmanson as he flaunts his sweet dance moves behind both New Yorkers and tourists in Times Square and Bryant Park.
He was in a joyous mood as he carried out his hilarious antics, but peoples' reactions were mixed. His moves were met with a smirk, smile or giggle. But there were a few people who didn't even see him, going about their day. Despite New Yorkers' tough reputation, Kalmanson got some pretty funny reactions.
At one point, he headed down to the subway to show off some more dance moves and entertain commuters. The crowd responses speak for themselves.
The Crown Heights resident, who is originally from New Haven, CT, wasn't sure how people would react to his stunt, but he decided to make this video because he just wanted to make people smile.
Hopefully this video will make you smile, too.
