Miss Flans is a "cheweenie," a combination Chihuahua and Dachshund, and a victim of inbreeding. She came from a backyard breeder who frequently mated siblings, and because of this, Miss Flans has many medical issue and deformities. Her first owners laughed whenever Miss Flans would have a seizure, thinking it was just something funny she did, and never got her the medical attention she needed.
After Miss Flans first owners finally abandoned her due to her medical conditions, Linda stepped on the scene to foster the partially blind, deaf pup. Ever since coming to live with Linda – who gave Miss Flans her name – the dog has been doing wonderfully, and has become a sweet and loving addition to her home.
Rescue dogs are never broken, they are simply searching for the right family to love them!
