Johal was conducting a social experiment about a fake missing daughter, when something amazing happened.
He wanted to see how people would react when he approached them with fliers about a missing little girl. However, when he asked a homeless man for help — everything changed in an instant.
There was no way he thought anyone, especially a homeless person, would go out of their way to do this. Johal approached the man in the parking lot and gave him the same fake spiel he was giving everyone else.
When he tried to walk away, the man asked for a flier and said he would call him on a pay phone if he saw the little girl.
Believing Johal was telling the truth, he did something totally selfless. The homeless man put down his poster board that asked for money and held up the flier of the little girl.
It's random acts of kindness like this (and the waitress who left a kind note to mourning parents) that really make the world a better place.
He didn't do it for just a few minutes: The hidden cameras caught him sitting on the curb for hours holding up the picture of the little girl.
Johal returned in complete awe of someone being so giving. He could've asked passersby for money, but instead he chose to help find someone he thought needed help.
