When it comes to comfort food, nothing is better than light, sweet crepes…slathered with Nutella.
These delicious treats remind me of my time in Paris. You can walk outside, and vendors are lined up cooking Nutella crepes on the street. I can almost smell the aroma filling the air. Yummy! Hands down, it is one of the best European street foods. But what's a girl to do when she's back in the U.S.A.?
Well, Bigger Bolder Baking's Gemma Stafford has come to the rescue and is showing us all how to make delicious Nutella crepes from scratch that you can enjoy for breakfast (or, really, any time of day).
In the mouth-watering video, Stafford simply whips up the homemade Nutella by first putting the hazelnuts in a food processor. Then, she blends in cocoa powder, icing sugar, cooled melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil. When it's smooth, it's done. Then, you can store the Nutella in an airtight jar at room temperature for weeks to make crepes at your convenience.
I can't wait to try this at home. My kitchen is calling!
