Ed Zamora surprised his wife of 33 years this week when he welcomed her at the airport with a very heartwarming surprise.
"Melody was returning home from a two week trip to Spain. Ed showed up in Bag Claim with flowers in one hand and his trumpet in the other. When his wife stepped foot on the escalator, Ed took a deep breath and serenaded her all the way down by playing their song, "What a Wonderful World!" And that's what you call a wonderful welcome!" the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport reported.
In the video, Ed stood at the baggage claim area of the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas. When he saw his wife, he began to play the Louis Armstrong classic on his trumpet. Her reaction says it all.
"One of the takeaways is still be open to surprises after 33 years of marriage," Chatelle told TODAY. "For my husband to show up at the airport and do what he did was such a loving gesture.
"[I was] certainly in need of something uplifting, knowing where I was going and for what reason. It was a treasure that will always stay with me."
