When a bunch of baby ducklings, who don't know how to fly, suddenly jump out of a nest in a high tree to the ground many, many feet below, your first thought is, "oh no!" But wood ducks are a special type of duck that are actually used to this sort of thing. The only place they build nests are at high altitudes, so babies have to be specially designed to withstand that first big dive. And as you can see from watching this video, even though it seems scary, the babies are perfectly fine once they hit the ground!
