Fact: I still remember the day my family got our first computer. It took up the entire desk in my parent's home office, and looking back, it didn't really do anything. I remember wondering what the point of having it was. And then came the Internet. In this video, we're treated to the earnest reactions kids when they see and hear what online technology was like for all us old folks back in the day… and the results are hilarious.
It may have taken 5 minutes to dial in our AOL connection, but at least this was something new I couldn't do on our electronic typewriter. Sigh. These kids have no idea how easy they have it. Sadly, they also have no idea what it's like to spend a day without seeing a screen. Now that's something I miss.
